At this point in the story they have not yet recorded together.

I was so much looking forward to see this film, yet had to flip channels after 15 minutes of watching. Tried it a second time and the same happened.

I love Salsa music, and I really loved the thought of these two stars being in this together. I am an older person but not too much of a prude or at least I didn't think so.

Jennifer Lopez is same beauty as she is now. Mark Anthony is singing great as he still does.

Both Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony gave a great performance!! Especially JLo - she really proved in this film that she's not just a dancing pop-star, that she's a really talented actress.

In 1963, Hector Perez was already a promising young singer in his native Puerto Rico when, at the age of seventeen, he moved to New York City to try and make a name for himself as a performer there. In no time flat, he was playing in clubs, had signed a lucrative recording contract with the Latin-flavored Fania Records, and had changed his name to the far more exotic-sounding Hector Lavoe.

Some IMDB movie ratings are just wrong. That applies here.

For me I find this the best film that I have seen Jenifer Lopez perform in. Brilliant acting and very unusual role for Lopez.

This is a biopic of salsa singer Héctor Lavoe (Marc Anthony) who lived from 1946 to 1993. His wife Puchi (Jennifer Lopez) recalls their lives together in 2002.

Now that I have seen the movie I would really like to learn something about Hector Lavoe's life. The funny thing is that I thought the movie would provide that kind of information.
